It’s Spring here in the U.A.E.  You can walk officially walk outdoors without breaking down into a pool of sweat.  I was recently in Karachi a few month’s back. In the little time I had, I made sure I made a pit stop at the city’s most popular mall, Dolmen Mall in Clifton. I’ve been following Generation on Instagram for a while, so I made it a point to pop into their store. Generation Women Street styleFor those that don’t know, Generation is a home grown Pakistani brand famous for it’s Eastern fusionwear concept. I love how they incorporate all sorts of prints into their clothing. Their collections give off a very urban street style vibe, which is what I love.

When I first entered the store, I spotted this denimkari flared baby blue tunic with beige embroidery. I’m usually quite unlucky when it comes to finding my size with Pakistani labels. Generation keep their collections quite limited so the chances of restocking when your fav piece is out of stock, is slim to none. I originally wanted a size 8 as this flared tunic has a wide shape, but 10 was all that they had left. I loved it when I first spotted it, so I picked it up anyways.

The day before, I was heading to a beauty event so I had to pull this out of my wardrobe to wear. I wanted to keep my outfit fresh and airy for this lovely weather we’ve been having.

I’m a huge fan of mixing different brands and creating your own personal style. I don’t like to conform to one particular trend or look, and I always like to add a little urban twist to my outfits.

Hope you all enjoyed this look that I put together. Do you have any favorite fusion wear brands ? I’d love to hear from you as I’m always looking to trying something new !
